2pc. Exotic Zebrawood Cigar Box Guitar/Small Banjo Bridges-Handmade in the USA!

This is a set of two handcrafted cigar box guitar bridges, made from beautiful (and expensive!) zebrawood. These are perfect for 3 and 4-string cigar box guitars, and can be customized with string grooves for any configuration. These are hand-made in the U.S.A - milled and crafted in the C. B. Gitty Workshops in New Hampshire.
The approximate dimensions of each bridge is: 2 3/8" long by 3/16" wide by 7/16" high. Since these are hand-milled, the sizes of each individual bridge may vary slightly - but that's OK, these are cigar box guitars we're talking about, they don't have to be perfect and uniform every time!
These bridges have been rough-sanded and may require a bit more finish sanding to suit your needs. They are also unfinished, and can be treated with linseed oil or other finishes as needed. In the product photos, the left bridge has been treated with linseed oil and the right one is unfinished, to show you the difference. Since these are cut in a cross-grain style, some care is needed in handling, as they won't stand up to a lot of torsion without snapping. But rest assured, they have plenty of strength for use as bridges - we have used a good few on our own cigar box guitars!
Please note that it can help to put a very thin coating of a rubbery adhesive on the feet of these to help them stay in place on your cigar box, as on smoother boxes they can tend to walk a little bit without something to help hold them in place. We apply a very thin sheen of hot glue, spread it thin and let it dry, before placing the bridge on the box - this allows it to still be movable if needed, while keeping it firmly seated in place when playing.

We ship packages via the U. S. Postal Service, either First Class Mail International or Priority Mail International. While these services generally get packages anywhere in the world in 1 to 2 weeks, sometimes it can take longer - this is almost always because the Customs Office in your country delays the package. In some cases it has taken up to 4 weeks for a package to be delivered. We will not consider an item as "lost" until at least 30 days have passed from the time of shipment. Also, you may be responsible for local customs duties and taxes depending on your country's laws. We mark package values honestly, as required by the laws of the United States, so please don't ask us to declare a false value, or declare a package as a gift. If you are an international buyer, please be aware of these realities BEFORE buying.
Recycled Materials...
We use recycled cardboard as packaging materials whenever possible. Those of you who care about the environment can appreciate the value of this, and everyone can appreciate the fact that it helps keep our prices lower since we don't have to buy new cardboard for packaging. This may mean that our packaging materials occasionally show some shipping scuffs, labels, printing or other markings, but used cardboard does the job just fine. Hopefully you will find a way to recycle it on your end too!
