Combo Pack of 3 Custom Made Spillway Dam Banjo Bridges
I've been making some Spillway Dam Banjo Bridges from a design that BHO member xnavyguy and some of his friends developed, except I use the standard horizontal wood grain, with no top cap, execpt on the Pinneywood bridge, which is softer wood, and needs a hardwood cap. I have made several, and most banjo pickers really like them. They are all hand made, and may vary a little in shape, but will have close to the same weight, and sound. Each Bridge is tested on a banjo for sound quality. They have a good bass, and sharp treble, with good note separation, and sound really good as you go up the neck. I'm using Red Oak Wood, and have the standard sizes Bridges, 1/2, 5/8, 11/16, and 3/4 inch with standard, or Crowe spacings.
I have also starting making the Spillway Dam Bridge Design out of 100 Year Old Oak wood, out of an old barn, and Pine wood, with a Hardwood Cap. Each bridge will hopefully improve the sound of your banjo, but also, each bridge has a little different sound.
Several people have contacted me about the Spillway Dam Bridges, and aren't sure which one would be the best for their banjo, so I have decided to offer a Combo Pack, of the 3 different Spillway Banjo Bridges, that I build.
I will make you one each of the regular Spillway Bridge, the Pinneywood Spillway Bridge, and the 100+ Year Old Barn Wood Spillway Bridge, in any height, and string spacing you want.
Of cource, I like them all, but some sound better on some banjos, than other do. You know how that goes, and I hate to pick out one for somebody, so with the Combo Pack, you can decide for yourself, and if you have several banjos, maybe each one will work good on a different banjo. At least you can have fun expermenting with them.
