Sideboard "Flat" by Piero Lissoni for Cassina in gloss white w/ Carrara marble

Description

Selling our beautiful "Flat" sideboard / credenza finished in gloss lacquered white with white Carrara marble top designed by Piero Lissoni and manufactured by Cassina. It is comprised of two sections - one has three drawers and the other has two doors with a shelf on the inside; the one with the shelf inside can be used for media as previous owner made cut-out openings for cables in the rear wall (the cut-outs are a bit rough but not visible when in use). The small cylindrical handles are made of extruded aluminum and are all in good condition. Overall it’s in good vintage condition - the top marble is in great shape with no cracks and no chips; the front panels are in good shape too; there are some blemishes and touch ups on the rear upper corners that are not too visible and some marks on the back and side panels from being against the wall. One of the small aluminum feet at the rear bottom was lost during a recent move and was replaced with a makeshift one; it is one of a total of eight so it’s quite steady even without it but we had one done anyway, plus it is quite inexpensive to order a new one although it can be used easily as-is as it is underneath and not visible). This was almost k about 20 years ago (without taxes, delivery, and other surcharges) which would be way way more in today’s money. My understanding is that it’s no longer available from the manufacturer in this specific configuration.

Cash and local pick up only!  TOO LARGE TO BE SHIPPED!  SIDEBOARD IS LOCATED IN THE WASHINGTON, DC AREA. PayPal is an accepted payment option as well but since item is for local pick-up (i.e. without tracking and shipping documents) buyer must inspect the item on pick-up in person and acknowledge receipt of item according to description through eBay messaging system and must exchange feedback before item leaves the premises.
Same applies to shipping/pick-up arranged by buyers on their own through a specialized shipping/moving company - item must be inspected on pick-up by buyer’s shippers and buyer must then acknowledge through eBay messaging system of his/her shippers’ taking possession of the item and both parties must exchange feedback before item leaves the premises.
This is expensive furniture and I do not ship it because it is too bulky, heavy, and fragile, and I don’t want to take the risk of something being broken in transit. Buyers however can arrange shipping/pick-up on their own in line with the terms stated above. Also, I can deliver it in person on my own as far as NYC or Boston for an additional fee to cover the round-trip costs (gas, tolls, etc).
