It has a cast iron housing and base, a thermoplastic impeller, and a shaft seal made of carbon and ceramic. Submersible effluent pumps are used in a wide variety of applications, including municipal wastewater treatment plants and in commercial applications such as septic tanks. The ZOELLER N153 submersible effluent pump has been designed to handle demanding sewage and effluent pumping applications. The cast iron housing and base provide the pump with a solid base and the pump can be used in sewage and effluent applications. This effluent pump does not come with a switch.
